    My mother was facing the same scenario in our native place building which was creating a lot of noise in our radio reception quality in MW band to zero inside the building area but in open air area reception quality will improve , today after 1 year when i desperately went for point by point switching off and on of the appliances, i got the monster led bulb which was placed in 2nd floor was creating the entire building rmf. Replaced that led bulb, now my mom can listen her radio peacefully. I was thinking that it may be due to radar frequency but this monster was led bulb.

    Excellent initiative to normalize volume, mainly for television commercials. It is clear that these jumps in loudness have been the cause of traffic accidents, heart diseases and many more affectations that are a consequence of the exaltation and affectation of the senses and the psyche in human beings.

    Thank you for your video. LED lamps/bulbs have built in power supplies that emit RFI (radio frequency interference). This RFI can be reduced or eliminated by circuit design and shielding. In cheap power supplies, there are no RFI reductions. Ferrite beads can be used in some cases to reduce this RFI, especially on power cords.

    • @sazanlip

      Well, they don't just sell bullshit. If one who orders in bulk is willing to put a decent amount of money into product, and will be fine with increased cost, while still keeping price reasonable to consumer, there's a good chance that the radio noise emitted by the device will be minimized, if not made barely noticeable. But instead we got penny shavers as managers, so we have to deal with what they put to the shelves.

      And I haven't started about testing laboratories yet. Of course, there are likes of VDE and Underwriters, who will, indeed, test the product in question used normally and abnormally. But there are some dodgy labs as well, as soon as they get some kind of accreditation, they will rubber-stamp anything that gets on their hands, so the importer can "proudly" place EC label on them.

    i bought a 50W LED and the radio gets noisy when turned on, is it even possible to have such a strong LED without any interfering of the radio or is possible just with better product?

    • @r4ev1
      @r4ev1 5 лет назад

      The LED-light itself isn't the issue. It's the switch mode power supply that's producing the interference. If you can get your hands on another PSU and change it, it might do the trick.

    Yes. LED Lights can kill the radio. I've got 4 Lohas 3 watt bulbs outside that place a 3/4 power signal (S9) on the S-Meter of my High Frequency Amateur Radio. I'm going to replace them with some 5 Watt incandescent bulbs tomorrow.

    The problem is all videos I see at 60 FPS look more artificial than the 24\30 ones. I prefer the blured ones than the 60 fake crap videos that look like Real life going like a Ferrari on track, it even seems that real life is speeding up a lot on the 60 FPS videos... And hell, in real life I see VERY different to those 60 FPS videos, in my eyes it actually looks more like those 30FPS videos, but just without much blur, the 60 FPS already look like a game with fake 3D strange motion. Now for gaming, 120FPS is the best, but the problem is really having raw power to run upcoming games locked at that rates...... €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€ ps: In my opinion I dont think movies will win anything by being filmed at 60 FPS, unless they ended up having to add fake motion blur over the video again to look like its cinematic again...

    The analogy is very confusing for those who don't already understand the concepts. The 'high quality, high bitrate' stream is filling up the 'buffer' faster, meaning the outlet is less likely to be stopped. The 'low quality, low bitrate' stream is not filling up the 'buffer' nearly as fast, and it is natural to assume therefore the outlet will be stopped if the outlet's rate of flow is greater than that of the input low quality stream. The viewer therefore comes to the conclusion that for uninterrupted viewing, they should choose the 'high quality, high bitrate' stream, when we know the opposite may be true.

      Binaural recordings are fine for headphone use. Not so much for multiple listeners. Though I think it might be possible to convert them to ambisonics. It is, however, definitely possible to decode ambisonics for binaural playback, though.

    This is only valid for occasional LIVE coverage through a limited number of TV channels. In developed countries, that have 200+ DVB-T stations and transmit therefore mostly recorded content (sometimes the same stuff many times with +1 or +2 hours delay), the viewer woud rather be better served accessing the on demand archive of the broadcaster via internet streaming (what, when and how much he wants) than through hyper compressed low resolution linear channels with a imposed schedule. A perfectly working example in Switzerland is EBU german-french Member ARTE: all its excellent programs are availalble in HD via internet within the week of its TV broadcast (some old habits can't be lost that easily :). This is extremely convenient for active people having little time left at the end of the day. Another good point about streaming is the flexibility of its technology evolution: the fact around Geneva is that while old SD standards at low bite rate is still used for the national terrestrial broadcast, online private competitors will offer HEVC 4K premium content over internet this fall 2014 - and this after RUclips and others are offering HD for years, 4K for months and will upgrade to full motion framerate 1080p60 soon. My 1 cent question will then be: which casters will look better on my old SmartTV HD or newly purchased 4K connected Screen or Tablet ? The answer is obvious. It is extremely important for each democratic country that Public Service Medias garantee an independent terrestrial distribution of information and broadcast has certainly great advantages to save broadcasters money and reach a maximum number viewers via national terrestrial channels. While older people would still prefer coach+ sd tv, the educated youger generation enjoy most esclusively the convenience of consumming entertainment and information on demand. So I would lobby for both broadcast and streaming technologies equally because each one can actually serve a different audience, and focus on streaming and therefore on the youger generation here to stay for the next decades. To finish on a greener note, each square meter of grass and flowers requires a fix amount of water, no matter the distribution solution is. In hot countries, streaming water to each plant is the only way to save this precious natural ressource.The given garden wattering example might be confusing and misleading ecologically speaking.
